Natalie Gentile, MD Receives Bronze Research Award

Three members of the Mayo Clinic received Family Medicine (FM) Research Awards at the annual Family Medicine Research Forum October 23. The awards were established to recognize individuals for their outstanding research accomplishments. A wall plaque honoring awardees is displayed in the Kasson ADC.

Bronze Research Award: Natalie Gentile, MD

The bronze award recognizes an individual at the instructor rank at the beginning of 2017. Dr. Gentile's research work has focused on lifestyle medicine and preventing childhood obesity. Her accomplishments include:

  • Three publications in the past three years, with one as first author
  • Presenting her research work at multiple regional and national meetings
  • Receiving an award for her research abstract at the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in Naples, Fla.

Meghna Mansukhani, MD, recipient of the Silver Research Award, and Kurt Angstman, MD, recipient of the Platinum Research Award, were also recognized. Please join us in congratulating these three fine physician researchers on their awards and for their contributions to bettering family medicine.
